There’s good news for all the Royal Enfield fans. The RE Bullet 350 (the OG retro charmer) will be revamped for its 2024 iteration. The motorcycle will get an updated chassis and other mechanicals while maintaining the same styling.
The Royal Enfield Bullet 350 is codenamed as the J1B internally and is planned to target a wider audience of prospective buyers. This is why, the updates in the motorcycle are done keeping in mind the target audience from students to businessmen. And in order to do so, it will feature wider tyres, better brakes, and a completely new chassis. All of these changes will make the motorcycle more stable and fun to drive.
Along with that, we can also expect to see a small digital display to go along with the retro analogue dial. We also believe this small display could get Bluetooth connectivity. And as far as the powertrain is concerned, it would feature the new breed of engines that has redefined the age-old vibey REs. So, it could feature the same 349cc engine as the Classic 350 with 20.2 bhp and 27 Nm torque.
The current generation Royal Enfield Bullet features a 346cc engine. With this, the motorcycle makes 19.1 bhp power and 28 Nm torque. It could also feature a slightly shorter stroke to improve the thrill of driving, like the new-gen Classic.
With all the changes, the pricing might go up, but not by anything significant. We are expecting a hike of anywhere around INR 10,000 to INR 12,000.
